I'm feeling extra patriotic this Fourth of July. I don't know if its because of all of the countries I've been visiting as of late, or the 40 foot american flag my family strung across the canyon yesterday. Probably a little combination of both. Ha! I guess the bottom line is, I am so thankful to live in this country. Every time I leave home, I can't help but think of how thankful I am to live in such a wonderful, beautiful place. This Fourth of July is especially special because us Haugen's are all together as a family for the first time in years! My sister in law Veronica just got permission to come into the country last fall (Immigration laws), and my sister Cami & her family (who live in Georgia) are visiting. I haven't seen them since my wedding last April! Hurry get the cameras out, it's a christmas miracle! Haha It's crazy having the whole gang together, but it sure feels good. :)
My Dad thought up another one of his crazy cool ideas, to string a flag across the mountains above our neighborhood for the month of July! It was an insanely stupid process, all the boys were basically climbing cliffs.. I don't know how they pulled it off but It all ended well! It could not have turned out more awesome. :) Here is a video of everyones clips I edited together - I'm so sad my Dad was on the other side of the canyon for the filming of this video, because he was the master mind behind it all!
